WELCOME/BIENVENIDOS TO THE GOVERNOR'S COMMISSION ON HISPANIC AFFAIRS
Welcome to the official web site of the Governor's Commission on Hispanic Affairs. The Commission was established by the Governor Marvin Mandel in 1971 and re-authorized in 1979, by then Governor Blair Lee.
One of the goals of the Commission is to provide information about events, organizations, legislation and community resources. Our website will be an important vehicle for meeting that goal.
But, we need your help
We want to bring you the latest news about Maryland Hispanics. Contact us to tell us about a program, organization or events that you believe will be of interest to our community. We also welcome your feedback about our site so that we can improve it to meet your needs. Your suggestions and comments will help us improve our delivery.
