The Adult Literacy and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program provides quality learner-centered instruction to fight illiteracy and help foreign-born residents improve English language skills, thereby increasing adults' abilities to contribute to their families, work places, and communities in the Baltimore area.

Dedicated volunteer tutors and paid instructors conduct this work through one-to-one tutoring or classroom instruction.
